Finding the magick in March
Owning our light and moving with the cosmos…
Hello fellow star gazer,
It’s that time in the lunar cycle where I like to sprinkle a little cosmic love over your inbox…
I’ve recently been super busy working on the 2026 Moon Phase Studios journal with the MPS crew (yes we do start work on it this early!), as well as seeing my wonderful clients and sending out Astro Goddess posters, so it’s been all go! As I sit here, writing this under a tranquil blue sky, I continue to wonder what March will bring, both collectively and on a personal level. Eclipses, retrogrades and a big planetary shift are in motion or waiting up ahead. The skies are changing.
This week I refreshed my moon altar and burnt one of my Lunar Rise wax melts (containing bergamot, lemon and cedarwood essential oils) – perfect for welcoming early springtime vibes. I also looked to nature, as I often do if I feel uncertain or ‘foggy’, and took a breath. The daffodils are coming back to life in the garden, I have (hopefully) saved my Chinese witch hazel that took a battering in recent gales, and yesterday I planted some irises, which look like springtime in a pot! There is peace and gratitude to be found in these small acts.
As we work with shifts and change during the month, let’s try to own our light, friends, and beam out good energy. Spring equinox is on the way, something to celebrate! Read on for the planetary action ahead, including some potent lunar cycle dates for your diary. Now, let’s take a breath, as we embrace March together…
Lunar cycle check-in

We are currently moving through the first quarter moon stage in the lunar cycle, a helpful point to reflect on any intentions we set at the new moon or to pause and practise gratitude for how the month is going so far.
In the background Venus continues her retrograde, joined by Mercury retrograde on the 14th*/15th March. With these two retrogrades overlying later in the month, there is a distinct sense of something pulling us back to revise or review around relationships, communication, what we value in life and what we are truly ready to initiate. Planetary retrogrades often teach us to avoid rushing, and to slow down.
This month also brings two eclipses: a Virgo lunar eclipse on the 13th*/14th March and an Aries solar eclipse on 29th March. Together, these suggest that March has the potential to bring sudden shifts and change, so I suggest creating space in your schedule for activities that help you feel grounded and to stay open to any insights that land. Neptune moves into Aries on 30th March, so it feels like whatever is revealed at the eclipses can help us to begin shedding an old skin, to make way for a completely new energy!
Buckle up and stay connected to your intuition, friends. March has much to show us…

13th */ 14th: lunar eclipse in Virgo ~ What is being revealed now? Let this eclipse show you where change needs to happen.
22nd: last quarter moon in Capricorn ~ Review your aims. Do your plans need to change or are they solid?
26th - 28th: balsamic moon ~ And breathe… a soul-soothing time to conserve energy ready for the next lunar cycle.
29th: solar eclipse in Aries ~ New starts are waiting in the wings, but what resources do you need to make them a reality?

A Cosmically Conscious journey at spring equinox
The spring equinox (20th March) is when I look forward to welcoming my Cosmically Conscious clients. These are people who have signed up with me to work with the astrology of their birth charts at those special turning points – the equinoxes and the solstices – over a year. It’s a real journey of self-discovery with the stars!
