Welcome, star gazer, to the Cosmically Conscious Newsletter – I can’t believe it’s June already!
The year 2025 is unprecedented for astrology, due to the massive shifts of the slower-moving planets. In recent weeks Saturn has moved into Aries, which will be followed by Jupiter moving into Cancer on 9th June and then Uranus moving into Gemini in July. It’s all go in the cosmos!
As the wheel of the year turns, it may feel challenging to find steady ground. If this resonates, know that you aren’t alone. As the energy moves, we may find ourselves in unexpected realms and this is where Gemini season, which we are currently in, can help. More on that to come…
For me, the last month has felt like a real learning curve as the planets go about their orbital business, and I roll with the changes. It’s been a rollercoaster with new opportunities, some of which I’ve created, others that have just come my way. I’ve excitedly launched my new monthly astro gatherings and am currently figuring out the best way to take my Substack forward. If you enjoy these newsletters, I’d love to hear your suggestions about what you’d like to see from me here or in a membership? Please do hit reply with any thoughts.
For this cycle we’ll be leaning into Gemini season, checking in with the moon’s path, AND I’ve got all the details for my next astro gathering, so let’s dive in…
Lunar cycle check-in (PDT*/EDT*/BST)
As this moon cycle unfolds, we are treated to Jupiter moving signs from Gemini to Cancer on 9th June. I say ‘treated’ because in the sign of Cancer, Jupiter is exalted, meaning the planet of abundance and opportunity is extra happy and radiating generosity here. (Yes please!) This happens just before our fiery full moon in Sagittarius on 11th June, also known as the strawberry moon, thought to be named by certain Native American tribes after the time of year when the ripe red fruit was gathered.
With exuberant Jupiter changing signs and a full moon symbolic of what is coming to fruition, we can use this lunar cycle to welcome in abundance and move mindfully towards the solstice on the 20th*/21st June. I find this is always a potent point in the calendar to reflect on the last six months and then set intentions for the second half of the year.
On 24th June, just before the next new moon, we also have a Jupiter cazimi, where the sun and Jupiter align in Cancer. This is a special day for channelling wisdom, opportunities and emotional growth, so watch for inspired ideas or new perspectives around this time.

As we move through June with the flexible, curious energy of Gemini season, we can work on honing our skills of adaptability for the year ahead by keeping an open mind and appreciating that change can be a good thing. Consider the shifts you have been through since the beginning of the year and what you have learnt. Whilst there may have been challenges, tap into how you have grown, and the pearls of wisdom you have been gifted.
This moon cycle delivers a beautiful opportunity to tune into this and to consider the vision you’d like to manifest in the second half of the year.
For all you moon lovers out there, here are the dates for the main moon phases in June and mini journal prompts for each one: For time zones: PDT/EDT/BST
3rd June: First quarter moon in Virgo ~ Consider the intentions you set at the new moon. Do you need to refine them or are they still aligned?
11th June: Full moon in Sagittarius ~ What is coming to fruition now? How can this guide your next steps?
18th June: Last quarter moon in Pisces ~ What are you grateful for right now? Practise gratitude for what the cycle is showing you.
22nd ~ 24th June: Balsamic moon ~ And rest… take some time out. Make space to appreciate the power of the solstice and the Jupiter cazimi.
25th June: New moon in Cancer ~ Let your emotions flow. What does your intuition need you to know?

This month I’m enjoying… a new podcast!
This month I want to give a shout to Jennifer Lane, Green Witch and Author, who has just started a new podcast with Laura Derbyshire, Writer and Artist called The Divine Void. In this podcast Jennifer and Laura share their thoughts on the liminal spaces of the world and how to sustain a magickal practice between Pagan festivals. I really enjoyed episode one and have episode two primed and ready to listen to!
And finally, a little reminder that if you wish to book a Birth Chart Explore session or a Moonology 1:1, my July bookings are open. For those who have worked with me before and wish to dive a little deeper, I have one space on my Cosmically Conscious journey, beginning at the solstice!
Until next time,
Keep your feet on the ground and eyes on the cosmos…

Thank you so much for the shout-out, Charlotte! Smiling from ear to ear! Happy Strawberry Moon to you for Wednesday <3
Yeah the dates really cement everything together and give great food for thought. As a Sag rising and Cancer Sun I'm intrigued by Jupiter's cazimi rebirth shortly after his move into cancer after his being in detriment in Gemini for the last year. This last year really highlighted how benefits are not always benefic- something I had known (wissen) theoretically but not known (kennen) personally. It's interesting to ponder how this next year of Jupiter may temper the Saturn/ Neptune in Aries... Really interesting times and massively helpful unfo, thanks Charlotte.
